Tennille is based in the tropical sunshine of Cairns, Far North Queensland, where she lives with her hubby and kids, a Blue dog, a grey cat and five fish - just to keep things interesting.

 

" We love road trips and camping holidays, fishing, crabbing and boating, picnics and BBQs with friends and family. Generally, we enjoy spending our spare time in the great outdoors, which heavily influences my work."

Tennille uses primarily watercolour painting, but often breaks the mould by with abstracts, mixed media and paper collages created from tiny pieces of abstract watercolour paintings made especially for each piece. With her whimsical style encompassing work ranging in from tiny critters to huge landscapes, the natural to the imaginary the one theme consistently flowing through all her artwork is joy.
